The operating system version may care, but the hardware doesn't. I can see OWC telling you that a specific product only works with a specific sub-set of Mac hardware, but I do not see how a storage device cares about what file system is layered on top of it or what version of macOS the Mac is running.Īpple's hardware doesn't care.
